Kristin Pruitt, president of Lake City Bank, Warsaw, has been honored with the 2025 Indiana Bankers Association Woman of the Year award, sponsored by Krieg DeVault LLP. She was presented with the award on Thursday, Oct. 23, during the IBA Banking on Women conference.
The annual award recognizes a woman in banking who excels at her profession, is active in her community and supports other women to reach their full potential – whether in banking or other fields.
“Kristin’s knowledge and abilities as a banker are unquestionable, but even more importantly, her ability to lead, bring teams together, build consensus and empower others is extraordinary,” one of her nominators said.

Through the pandemic, she was chair of her local Boys and Girls Club and worked with staff leadership to ensure no staff lost their jobs and created new all-day programs to help kids with e-learning. On average, students who participated in the program improved 84% in math and 108% in reading.
Pruitt serves on the boards of the Riley Children’s Foundation, Community Investment Fund of Indiana, Northern Indiana Regional Development Authority, Community Foundation of St. Joseph County, Boys and Girls Clubs of St. Joseph County and more. Her leadership and skill within the banking industry was recognized with her appointment earlier this year to the board of directors for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
“Kristin is an exceptional leader and her work at Lake City Bank has truly been impactful. She’s been a terrific partner and mentor to everyone at the bank and leads by example,” said David M. Findlay, Chairman and CEO of Lake City Bank. “Kristin’s engagement and dedication to our communities is a further testament of her leadership. The Lake City Bank team is happy to see her honored with this well-deserved recognition.”
Pruitt earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and a juris doctor degree magna cum laude from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
“Kristin is a dedicated, selfless leader, who uses her considerable abilities, passion and heart to better everyone around her,” said Amber R. Van Til, IBA president & CEO. “We are proud to count her among our ranks and appreciate all she does in support of not just the Indiana banking community, but her local and broader regional community.”
